Today we finished up our house projects and started to look at their structure compared to a real house. We will continue this project on Monday as we look at how their house leaks thermal energy using the thermal cameras on iPad. Students will then have to make modifications to their house to reduce the amount of thermal energy that escapes into the atmosphere. Stay tuned for details!

Speaking of the thermal energy mini-poster, I had some absolutely FABULOUS submissions! Although I have not yet graded them, I was very pleased with most of the posters. If you did not remember your poster today, please remember to bring it tomorrow. You will lose points for it being turned in late, but something is ALWAYS better than nothing! Check out some of the awesome posters above!
Also, due to internet difficulties at school, I have extended the EdPuzzle deadline for the ones that were due today. They are now due tomorrow and I will be available in the morning for students to use iPads to watch them! Today in class students worked on calculating work and power by running the stairs. Students will show what they know tomorrow on a worksheet while I am out. Here are the sample calculations and notes from today!
