Today we went over the quiz we took yesterday and then started working on dimensional analysis. I am going to hold off on posting notes with this until I have had more time to work with the students on doing it! I hope to post a video next week that helps you as well!

Today we did a few notes on measurement and tools in science before beginning the Mini Metric Olympics. Check out the pictures below for highlights from the Paper Plate Discus Throw, Straw Javelin Throw, Cotton Ball Shotput, Right-Handed Marble Grab, and Left-Handed Sponge Squeeze! Students gained experience estimating new measurement amounts and then using the correct tools to measure volume, mass, and length. |
