| Why do some things float while other things sink? The answer has to do with buoyancy and density! Did you know that if you put cans of soft drinks in water, some of them will float while some of them sink? The amount of sugar a drink has in it will determine whether it is more dense or less dense than water. We reviewed density while examining this phenomenon and then tied in buoyancy by dunking a few ping pong balls.
