Today students used iPads to help them find out where their homes were seeping thermal energy. By using the thermal camera in the Photobooth app, students could see red in the areas where heat was present the most because it showed up red in the picture. They took this information and used it to insulate their home. The challenge was that they only received 1 plastic bag and 20 cotton balls and they had to make the best use of their resources! We will retest the houses tomorrow to see how they do at holding in heat!
