Over the past two days, we have been working on forming good hypotheses. Yesterday we worked on a demo called "Where did the water go?" Students had watch a cup with water being moved with other cups with no water and determine the location of the first cup. But when the cup was turned over, NO WATER CAME OUT! Where did it go? | |
Today students learned the "secret" was a super absorbent polymer called sodium polyacrylate. We then completed notes on precision and accuracy before beginning scientific notation. If you need extra help with scientific notation, check the video tutorial above to see if it helps! Otherwise, please come see me before school or during 4th period. There will be a quiz tomorrow on making observations, asking questions, and forming hypotheses! Check the notes below if you missed them!
