Today in lab we tested the solubility of different types of candy. Each group was provided with a specific type of candy and asked to discuss physical properties of that candy. Once we all shared information, students tested their candies in both cold and hot water to see if that made a difference in solubility. We learned that they are ALL soluble at some point because they are ALL made of SUGAR! Some candy required hot water to dissolve, but some broke apart instantly in cold water. |
