We have been very busy this week replicating Mendeleev's work with organizing the periodic table. Students started off the week by learning about differences in fission and fusion. They then completed a lab where they were tasked with building a puzzle that was missing pieces. From there we delved into the periodic table and the three categories within it. We will continue to work with the periodic table tomorrow and Friday. I am not posting answers to the following pictures because we worked together in class to determine the answers. You should also be able to determine all of the fission and fusion answers from the reading. If you do not have them written down, you need to get with someone in your group and talk about the answers together! | |

AuthorI am an 8th grade Science teacher in Leeds, Alabama. This is my fourth year teaching science. As a teacher, I would love nothing more than to teach my kids to question the world around them and to never stop learning. Archives
