1. Know the differences between balanced and unbalanced forces

4. Know which way an object will move based on a free body diagram
5. Be able to discuss how gravity and friction influence motion (For example: What causes gravity? What causes gravity to be stronger or weaker? What causes friction? What causes friction to be stronger or weaker?)
6. Be able to differentiate and understand each of Newton's 3 laws about motion.
7. Use Newton's 2nd law to calculate the force, mass, OR acceleration required.
8. Understand how a graph displaying distance and time relates to motion (We will cover this this week)
